About Marstan Group

The Marstan Group was formed in 2007.

The Directors have extensive experience in business management, project management and personal development for blue-chip organisations in both the public and private sectors.

We believe that there is an increasing need for good quality information, support and services to help people who run businesses or projects. Everybody involved benefits financially, personally and professionally when businesses are run properly or projects completed on time and within budget. The wider community also benefits because successful businesses make a better contribution to the Government revenue, which in turn ultimately leads to better services.

However, we are not just interested in efficient management. We also believe that business should be conducted constructively and ethically. How things are done is as important as what is being done. Constructive and ethical management is a much more fulfilling way of participating in our daily working lives.

In order to promote this ethos, we also want to help people to develop personally and professionally, helping them to learn the skills that enable them to fulfil their potential and make a contribution to their community.

We aim to provide an ever-growing set of resources which people can call upon:

• The first part is the Library - which is the self-help part of the site. In this you will see Marstan Guides on a number of subjects and links to books and courses produced by others. In the future, these will be enhanced by Marstan Master Classes which will provide in-depth insights on a large range of management and personal development topics.

• The second part is the On-line Community. At present, the business world has yet to catch up with the IT community, which constantly uses on-line forums to pose questions or provide solutions to others. We aim to build a community in each of the subjects which we feature on the website.

• The third part of the Marstan Group service is Professional Services. There are times when there is no substitute for taking expert advice. On this website, we list the professional services that we provide and also give links to other partners who can provide solutions.
